Copenhagen and its people” (working title) is a new photo series that I have started working on it’s about people living in Copenhagen, Denmark. What I’m trying to show is the many different types of people, living and working in Copenhagen. My goal is to find 50-100 people, who have a characteristic face or body it is for me what makes a person interesting, not whether the person is famous, beautiful or not, but whether the person has a particular face or body that you could remember and recognize again in the future.
“Copenhagen and it’s people” will consist of portraits of ordinary people, business men / women’s, homeless, old people, young people, people with tattoos…Etc. I’ll try to shoot them where they “belong” whether it’s at the office, on street, on the skate-ramp at the nursing home, at the tattoo shop or wherever they “belong”.
I don’t have any deadline yet, as I do not yet know how far I’ll go with the project or if I get stuck or if I suddenly think that all the photos I took do not live up to my expectations.
